Women's Basketball Faces Richmond on Sunday

The Rams and the Spiders meet for the 12th time on Sunday. Richmond leads the all-time series, 11-1, and has won the last nine meetings, including a 13-point victory in the Bronx last year.

Fordham enters the contest with an 11-15 overall mark, 2-9 in the Atlantic 10. In their last contest, the Rams fell to Duquesne, 56-50, at home on Wednesday. Arielle Collins was one of two Rams to reach double figures as she led the team with 14 points. Becky Peters chipped in with 10. Fordham has three players averaging in double figures in scoring this season beginning with Arielle Collins at 11.3 ppg. Collins also leads the squad in assists (86) and steals (51) while Becky Peters enters play scoring 10.7 points per game and Abigail Corning is scoring 10.3 ppg and leads the team in three point shooting percentage (.351).

The Spiders enter the game with a 20-6 overall record, including a 7-4 A-10 ledger. They have won five of their last six, but lost most recently, to Xavier on Wednesday. Richmond is led in scoring by Abby Oliver at 17.1 ppg, while Rachael Bilney scores 11.7 ppg, and Genevieve Okoro contributes 11.0 points per contest.

Following the game with Richmond, Fordham travels up to Olean, New York, to face #22/25 St. Bonaventure on Wednesday, February 22 at 7:00 PM.
