Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University men's basketball Rams continue their 2012-13 season, the 110th season of varsity basketball at Rose Hill, by traveling to Atlanta, Georgia, to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the McCamish Pavilion on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. in a game that will be televised live on ESPN3 with Nolan Alexander (pbp) and Kurt Hoyt as the announcers.

The game will also be broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and streamed live on wfuv.org with Alex Smith and Mack Rosenberg calling the action. You can also follow the game via Live Stats.

Fordham enters the game with a 3-9 record after an 81-75 win over Siena College in the Rose Hill Gym on Sunday afternoon. Georgia Tech enters the game with an 8-2 record and is coming off a 73-41 win over The Citadel in McCamish Pavilion on December 22.

Saturday night's contest will be the fourth meeting between Fordham and Georgia Tech on the hardwood with the Yellow Jackets leading the all-time series, which started in 1990, 2-1. Fordham took last year's meetings, 72-66, on December 29 in the Rose Hill Gym as Chris Gaston scored 23 points and grabbed 17 rebounds and Branden Frazier finished with 19 points and six assists. Georgia Tech won the first two matchups, 82-78, on February 15, 1990 in Madison Square Garden, and 92-72 on December 8, 1990 in Atlanta. The Rams are 0-2 all-time in the Peachtree State (0-1 at Georgia Tech and 0-1 at Kennesaw State). Fordham is 19-50 all-time against schools currently in the ACC, but have won two of the past three contests against ACC schools (last year's win over Georgia Tech, a loss in at Maryland in 2006, and a win at Virginia in 2005).

On the court, Fordham is led by junior guard Branden Frazier, who is averaging a team-high 16.8 ppg after netting a career-high 26 points at UConn and then scoring 20 points and adding ten assists for his first collegiate double-double in the Siena win. He is third in the Atlantic 10 in assists/game and fourth in scoring while leading the team in assists (61) and steals (12). Senior forward Chris Gaston, who missed six games with an injury, is averaging 14.3 ppg and 7.5 rpg after a 25-point, eight-rebound effort against Siena. Sophomore center Ryan Canty has picked up his game lately, averaging 10.7 ppg and 8.5 rpg over the past seven contests and 7.1 ppg and 6.2 rpg on the year. He leads the team and is fourth in the Atlantic 10 in field goal percentage, hitting 41 of his 71 attempts (57.7%) and leads the team with eleven blocks while also ranking second on the squad, and 17th in the Atlantic 10, in rebounding.
