After Fordham fans get their fill of football at Jack Coffey Field on Saturday, fans are encouraged to head next door to the Rose Hill Gym immediately following football, as the Fordham volleyball team wraps up its season against Rhode Island on Senior Day. The Rams will honor its two seniors, Randi Ewing and Michele Keathley, prior to the match.

LAST TIME OUT: The Fordham volleyball team attempted to keep its playoff hopes alive on Sunday, as the Rams took on the Duquesne Dukes at the Palumbo Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Rams opened with a first set win, but Duquesne rebounded to win the match three sets to one. Final set scores were 23-25, 25-22, 25-13, and 25-19.
Fordham opened the match leading, 14-10, as Randi Ewing connected for five early kills. The Rams extended the lead to six, 19-13, when Ewing connected for a pair of blocks, while Abigail Konovodoff added two kills. The Dukes fought their way back into the set, as Duquesne and Fordham were tied at 23 all. However, Ewing's seventh kill of the set and a service ace by Sara Konkel gave Fordham the opening set win, 25-23.
Set two looked to be more of the same, as the Rams jumped out to an 8-3 lead, and later led 11-4 after three straight Duquesne errors. Fordham held the lead until an eventual service ace by Duquesne tied the score at 18 all. The Dukes then grabbed the lead and pushed it to a three-point edge at 23-20. The teams then traded sideouts with Duquesne winning the set, 25-22.
The third set was firmly in Duquesne's hands, as the Dukes posted five team blocks and held Fordham to a .038 hitting percentage en route to a 25-13 set win.
Set four remained in Duquesne's favor, this time connecting for 6.5 team blocks while hitting .308, as the Dukes wrapped up the match with a 25-19 set win. In all, Duquesne finished with 17.5 team blocks compared to 14 for Fordham.
For Fordham, Ewing posted a season-high 17 kills to go with nine blocks, while Lisa Hipp added nine kills, 14 digs, and three blocks. Carina Thompson also chipped in seven kills and four blocks with Konkel dishing out 39 assists with five digs and four blocks.

Michele Keathley has played three seasons with Rams, appearing in 78 career matches. She has appeared as a serving specialist, a defensive specialist and a libero, totaling 398 career digs, 37 assists, and 17 service aces.
Randi Ewing has cemented herself as one of the top blocker in school history, becoming the fourth Ram to record over 300 blocks in her career. She ranks second at Fordham in career blocking average, fourth in total blocks and block assists, and fifth in solo blocks. In addition to her 321 career blocks, she has 522 career kills. This season, she leads the Rams in hitting percentage and has set career-highs in kills and blocks.
