The Fordham University football Rams continue their 2012 Patriot League season by traveling to Lewisburg, Pa., to face the Bucknell University Bison in Christy Mathewson Stadium on Saturday, November 3, at 1:00 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on the internet at wfuv.org with Alex Smith and DJ Sixsmith handling the announcing chores and Kenny Ducey on the sidelines. The game can also been seen online by clicking here (Fee required).
The Rams enter the Holy Cross game with a 5-3 record after defeating Holy Cross, 36-32, in the annual Ram-Crusader Cup game last Saturday in Worcester.
Bucknell enters the contest with a 1-7 record after a 47-33 Patriot League loss to Colgate in Lewisburg last week.
This will be the 28th meeting between Fordham and Bucknell on the gridiron with the Bison leading the all-time series, which started in 1929, 17-10. Bucknell won last year's meeting, 21-0, on Jack Coffey Field as Tyler Smith rushed 28 times for 204 yards and two scores but Fordham took the previous two meetings, including a 33-21 win in the 2010 matchup at Bucknell where Darryl Whiting rushed 38 times for 171 yards and two touchdowns and Ryan Higgins completed 12 of 20 passes for 169 yards and one score.
