Men's Basketball Takes on Temple in Philadelphia on Wednesday at 7:00 PM

Fordham Game Notes

The Rams enter the game with a 9-11 overall record, 2-5 in the Atlantic 10, following a 63-58 conference win over George Washington University in the Rose Hill Gym last Saturday as Branden Frazier led the way with a game-high 20 points. Temple enters the game with a 15-5 overall record, 4-2 in the A-10, after a 78-60 A-10 win over Saint Joseph's at home on Saturday.

On the court, Fordham is led by junior Chris Gaston, who leads the team in scoring (15.7 ppg) and rebounding (10.3 rpg). He has 1,249 all-time points for the Rams, 15th on the career list, and he is also sixth on the Fordham all-time rebounding list with 831 career boards. Gaston has 13 double-doubles on the year, seventh best in the NCAA.

Wednesday night's contest will be the 52nd meeting between Fordham and Temple on the hardwood. The Owls lead the all-time series, which started in the 1931-32 season, 38-13. The Owls won the past four match-ups, including a pair of wins last year, a 70-51 victory in the IZOD Center on January 5th as Juan Fernandez and Ramone Moore each netted 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds, and a 77-66 win in Philadelphia on February 9th as Moore netted 22 points and Scootie Randall added 12 points and nine rebounds.
