Richmond, Va. - The Fordham University men's basketball team continues its Atlantic 10 season on Wednesday night in Richmond as the Rams take on the defending conference champions, the University of Richmond Spiders at 7:00 PM in the Robins Center. Fordham Game Notes

The Rams enter the game with an 8-10 overall record, 1-3 in the Atlantic 10, following a conference loss at St. Bonaventure University last Saturday. Richmond enters the game with an 11-9 overall record, 2-3 in the A-10, after a 79-58 conference loss to Massachusetts in Richmond on Saturday.

On the court, Fordham is led by junior Chris Gaston, who leads the team in scoring (15.4 ppg) and rebounding (10.5 rpg). He and has 1,211 all-time points for the Rams, 19th on the Fordham career list, and he is also sixth on the school's all-time rebounding list with 814 career boards. Gaston has 12 double-doubles on the year, seventh best in the NCAA.

Wednesday night's contest will be the 17th meeting between Fordham and Richmond on the hardwood. Richmond leads the all-time series, which started in the 1984-85 season, 97. Richmond has won the last four meetings, including a 77-60 victory on February 5th last year when Justin Harper scored 16 points and Dan Geriot added 15.
