The Rams and Flyers meet for the 21st time on Saturday afternoon with Dayton leading the all-time series, 16-4, and have prevailed in each of the last six contests. The Flyers are 7-1 against the Rams all-time in games played in the Rose Hill Gym.
The Rams enter the contents with a 10-9 overall mark and a 1-3 ledger in conference play. In its last contest, the team fell to Saint Joseph's, 57-46, in overtime, from Hagan Arena on Wednesday. Charlotte Stoddart led Fordham with 11 points while Cody Sims nailed a three-pointer in the closing seconds of regulation to force overtime.
Fordham enters the game with three players averaging in double figures for scoring beginning with Becky Peters at 11.6 ppg, while Arielle Collins is second in scoring at 11.3 ppg and leads the team in assists (66) and steals (33). Abigail Corning is averaging 10.2 ppg and leads the team in three-point percentage (.376).
Dayton enters the game with an 11-5 overall record, 3-1 in the A-10, after defeating Massachusetts, 80-55, in Amherst on Wednesday. The team is led in scoring by Justine Raterman at 13.4 ppg followed by Andrea Hoover (9.5 ppg) and Cassie Sant (7.8 ppg).
Following the Dayton game, Fordham has another home contest with an A-10 opponent as they Rams host the Charlotte 49ers on Wednesday night, January 25, at 7:00 P.M.
