Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham men's soccer team travels down the Mosholu Parkway on Friday to face Manhattan College at Gaelic Park in the annual "Battle of the Bronx". The game is slated to begin at 7:00 P.M. The Rams enter the game with a 3-4-1 mark and the Jaspers are 0-7.

Both teams have struggled to score goals this season, as Manhattan has tallied just a pair of markers, while Fordham has found the back of the net five times. The Rams enter game off a 2-0 loss at Hofstra on Tuesday. The Jaspers fell to Bryant, 1-0, in their last contest.

In the last quarter century, these two rivals have met 23 times, and Fordham has a 15-7 lead in wins. Both sides played to a scoreless draw in 2007. Most recently, the Rams defeated the Jaspers 1-0 in 2010 in a game played at Jack Coffey Field. In that contest, Marcus Axelsson scored the lone goal with John Niyonsaba recording the assist.

Following the game with Manhattan, Fordham will commence Atlantic 10 conference play as they travel to Cincinnati, Ohio to face Xavier on Friday, October 7. The game with Musketeers is scheduled for 7:00 P.M.
