SERIES HISTORY: Since 1990, Seton Hall holds a 14-4 edge in the series against Fordham, following a 3-0 win by the Pirates last season. Fordham had won the previous two meetings, both in 2009.

LAST TIME OUT: The Fordham volleyball team looked to get off on the right foot on Saturday, as the team began Atlantic 10 play against the Rhode Island Rams at the Rose Hill Gym. However, it was the visiting Rams from Rhode Island, led Kayla Wilson's double-double, that took home a 3-1 victory to begin conference play. Final set scores were 25-23, 23-25, 25-13, and 25-18.

The two teams split the first two sets by identical 25-23 scores, leading to the all important third set. With Fordham up early, 5-3, Rhode Island reeled off nine straight points to take a 12-5 lead. Rhode Island's edge expanded to as many as 12 as they held Fordham to a -.047 hitting percentage in the set.

Set four saw more of the same, as Rhode Island posted a 13-4 run in the middle of the set to seal up the four-set win.

For Fordham, Randi Ewing led the attack with a team-high 11 kills and seven blocks, while Lisa Hipp added 10 kills and six digs. Krissy Buongiorno tied her career-high with nine kills with Sara Konkel having 23 assists and nine digs.

DIAZ-VAQUEZ & DAULTON PICK UP ALL-TOURNAMENT HONORS: Following the final regular season tournament of the season, two Fordham players have received All-Tournament this season: senior Brittany Daulton and freshman Rose Diaz-Vazquez.

Daulton was named to the Bucknell Invitational All-Tournament team after beginning the weekend with a career-high 24 kills against host Bucknell, hitting .378 with 11 digs. She then had seven kills and a career-high five blocks against Manhattan, and finished the tournament with 10 kills against Dartmouth. She also took home All-Tournament honors from the Brown Invitational, after recording double-figures kills in all three matches.

Diaz-Vazquez was named to the Rose Hill Classic All-Tournament team, as Fordham's lone representative. She posted a season-best 10 kills and a .444 hitting percentage in the Rams' win over Siena, and then matched that performance with 10 kills against St. John's.

RAM MILESTONES: Throughout the season, Fordham players will be closing in on personal milestones. Here is a look at a few to keep an eye on.

- In the Rams' last match against Rhode Island, senior Megan Arend recorded her 700th career dig. She now ranks in the top 15 all-time at Fordham in that category.

- Senior Brittany Daulton is 24 kills away from 500 for her career.
