Men's Soccer Returns Home to Face Marist on Wednesday

Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham men's soccer team recently completed a five-game road trip that saw them post wins over Hartford and Columbia. After being away from Jack Coffey Field for nearly an entire month, the Rams will face local for, Marist on Wednesday night at home at 7:00 P.M. The squad, currently at 3-3 on the season, will look to get back above the .500 mark.

The Red Foxes and Fordham met in Poughkeepsie, New York, in 2010 and the Rams prevailed in overtime, when Tim Richardson scored the game's only goal. In that contest, Ryan Meara made four saves to record the clean sheet.

Fordham enters the game ranked fifth in the Mid-Atlantic region by the NSCAA and they are led, offensively, by senior midfielder, John McHugh. McHugh leads the Rams in assists (two) and points (four). He scored the golden goal to defeat Columbia on Thursday. For the Red Foxes, Stephan Brossard leads the team in goals (five), assists (four) and points (14).

The Rams return to the road following the contest with Marist. They are next in action on Tuesday, September, 27 when they travel to Uniondale, New York to face local opponent, Hofstra. The game is slated to begin at 7:00 P.M.
