Final Scores

Lewisburg, Pa. - The Fordham men's golf team concluded play in 9th place, out of 13 teams, at the Bucknell Fall Invitational. The final round took place on Saturday at the Bucknell University Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Rams' junior, Brody Nieporte finished tied for 8th among individual competitors.

In the team category, Fordham finished ninth with a three-round total score of 882 after posting a 295 in the final round. The team opened with an identical 295 mark and improved to 292 in the second go-around. The winning team, Longwood University, finished with an 857.

Among individual golfers, several players had superlatives in the tournament. Nieporte finished in 8th after a final round 72. He posted a career-best 70 in the opening round. Devon O'Rourke finished in a tie for 17th with a third round-score of 74. He set a all-time-low score with a 69 on the second 18 on Friday. Jason Del Rosso came in 44th with a mark of 73. He finished with a 226 after nailing strokes of 75 and 78 on Friday. Connor Monaghan put up a 79 on Saturday, and he, along with Pat Herlihy finished in a tie for 52nd position. Herlihy shot a 76 on Saturday, after posting a career-best 74 on Friday.

The team returns to action on Saturday, September 24, when it travels to Ithaca, New York to compete in the Cornell Invitational. The tournament will have two rounds on Saturday and will conclude on Sunday.
