The Fordham women's basketball team features 10 new players, an entirely new coaching staff and several new support staff members, and the team not only bonded, but gave back to the community recently through volunteering at the Tough Man Triathlon as part of the Fordham Service and Justice Day. The event took place on September 9 at Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, New York.
The event consisted of a three-part race, a swim, a bike and a run. The basketball team was present throughout the day at all three events giving out safety equipment, food and drinks. In addition to competitive athletes, many of the participants donated proceeds to charity.
