The Fordham men's soccer team looks to get back on the winning track when they travel across the Harlem River for a road game against Columbia on Thursday night at 7:00 P.M. The Rams, currently in the midst of a five-game stretch away from Jack Coffey Field, enter the game with a 2-2 record, having dropped their last two games, at #5 Creighton, and at Drake.
Most recently, the 3-1 setback against the Ducks, saw freshman Ricky Berotti get his first start in goal for Fordham. Fellow seniors Matt Courtenay and John McHugh accounted for the Rams' marker, as Courtenay scored his first goal of the season and McHugh recorded his second assist.
Overall on the year, Fordham has scored three goals. The scorers were Michael Stalker, Phil Ferrantello and Courtenay. They have allowed just four markers all season, while posting identical 1-0 shutouts in their two wins.
Following the contest with the Lions, the Rams closeout their five-game road trip on Sunday, September 18, as they travel to nearby Garden City, New York, to face the Adelphi Panthers. The start time for that game is 5:00 P.M. Fordham returns home to face Marist College on Wednesday, September 21 at 7:00 P.M.
