2011 Schedule

The Fordham men's soccer team has released its 2011 schedule and it will feature some of the top competition in the nation. The team finished the 2010 season with a 10-8 overall record and hope to improve upon that mark in 2011.
Outside of conference play, Fordham faces schools from both local and national conferences. The Rams take on two schools each from the Missouri Valley Conference and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, an America East institution, a Patriot League team, a university from the Ivy League, a Colonial Athletic Association member, and a school from the Atlantic Soccer conference.
This year from within the Atlantic 10, Fordham faces perennial powers, Saint Louis, Xavier and Charlotte, in addition to St. Bonaventure, Dayton, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, La Salle, Saint Joseph's and Temple. Included on the schedule are local rivals Columbia, Adelphi, Hofstra and Manhattan as well as national power and fellow Jesuit school, Creighton. The Blue Jays ended 2010 ranked #18 in the country.
There are seven home dates scheduled for the Rams, beginning with Lehigh on Wednesday, August 31. After that, the Red Foxes from Marist come to Jack Coffey Field on September 21. Fordham closes out its home schedule with five straight games against A-10 competition, starting with UMass on October 14 and concluding with La Salle on October 28.
