Charlotte, N.C. - After waiting overnight and using extra innings to defeat UMass, the Saint Joseph's Hawks advanced to the Atlantic 10 softball final where they will face the top seeded Fordham Rams in the championship game on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. The game will air on a tape delayed basis on CBS Sports Network at 3:30 Eastern Time.

The Rams, the top seed in the championship, defeated Charlotte and Massachusetts to arrive at this point and are relying on the steady pitching of Jen Mineau and the clutch hitting of Beckah Wiggins. The double elimination tournament that is being hosted by Charlotte, will decided who advances to the NCAA softball championship.
