Philadelphia, Pa. - The Fordham University rowers closed out competition today at the 2011 Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River where the Varsity 8 placed fifth in the semifinals.

The Rams finished in a time of 7:04.18, behind Saint Joseph's, Buffalo, Connecticut and Jacksonville but ahead of George Mason.

The Rams will next be in action on May 21st and 22nd as they compete at the US Rowing Collegiate Championships on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.
