Final Standings

The Fordham golf team improved one spot to finish in seventh place in the final round of the Atlantic 10 Championship from the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida on Sunday, May 1. Connor Monaghan shot the low score for the team, for the second straight day, with a 78. The Rams finished with an overall score of 953, finishing three strokes ahead of St. Bonaventure. Charlotte took the team title with an 881, five strokes ahead of second-place Xavier.
Individually, Monaghan finished in a tied for 23rd, with a three round total of 234. Team captain, Devon O'Rourke, was the next Rams finisher at 240, good for a tie for 33rd place. He shot a final-round 83.
Jason Del Rosso completed his sophomore campaign by finishing in a tie for 36th, shooting a three round total of 241, after posting on 80 on Sunday. His classmate, Brody Nieporte shot a final-round 84, which put him in a tie for 38th and gave him a total score of 242. Two strokes behind, at 244, was the lone freshman competitor, Ryan Donahue. Donahue shot an 80 and finished in a tie for 44th.
The individual winner was Xavier's Herbert Day, who shot a two-under, 214. He finished in a tie with Richmond's Nick Austin, and Day beat Austin in a playoff.
