Easton, Pa. - The Fordham men's tennis team traveled to Easton, Pennsylvania, for its first of three road matches this week but didn't get the stretch off as planned, falling to the Leopards, 5-2.

The Rams opened the match dropping the doubles point, losing all three doubles matches. Nick Kelly and Ken Fukumoto fell at first doubles to Justin Harr and Sinan Ipecker, 8-3, while Eli Plangger and Alex DeRienzo were upended at the second position by Doug Gallagher and Will Mercorella, 8-5. At third doubles, Ben Kelly and Austin Shoup were beaten by Scott Gelbman and Andrew Morris, 8-5.

In singles play, DeRienzo picked up a win for the Rams at first singles, defeating Harr in straight sets, 6-4 and 602, while Plangger picked up a point for Fordham at the sixth position, besting Kyle MacLelland, 8-4.

The Rams will next be in action on Sunday, April 10th, as they travel to Sacred Heart for a 3:00 p.m. match
