The Fordham baseball team gets back into Atlantic 10 Conference play this weekend, as the Rams host the St. Bonaventure Bonnies in a three-game set at Houlihan Park. Fordham leads the all-time series with the Bonnies, 23-21, with the Rams having won seven of the last ten meetings.

SCOUTING ST. BONAVENTURE: The Bonnies are 6-14 this season, 0-3 in league play. The Bonnies are hitting .276 as a team, led by Austin Ingraham's .339 batting average and 10 runs scored, while Brad Steinbach is batting .338 with 13 runs scored and nine RBI. Nick Brennen leads the team with 15 RBI to go with a .329 batting average.
On the hill, St. Bonaventure boasts a 6.82 team ERA. The Bonnies will throw the rotation of RHP Jordan Crane, LHP Eddie Gray, and RHP Andrew Revello. Crane has primarily been a reliever this season with only one start in seven appearances, posting a 0-1 record with a 2.45 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 14.2 innings pitched. Gray has been the Bonnies' best starter this year. He has started five games, posting a 2-1 record with a 2.38 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 34 innings pitched. Revello, who defeated Fordham in last year's series, is 1-2 with a 4.44 ERA and 17 strikeotus in 26.1 innings pitched. In last year's game, he gave up six runs on six hits with six strikeouts in six innings of work.
WE'RE GOIN' STREAKIN': Chris Walker has caught fire as of late with a nine-game hitting streak entering this weekend. Over that streak, he is hitting .400 (16-40) with seven runs scored, six doubles, and five RBI... Ryan Lee is batting .324 (12-37) over his last nine games with seven runs scored, seven RBI and two stolen bases... Ryan David is hitting .306 (11-36) in his last nine games with seven runs scored and five RBI... On the hill, Chris Pike has three saves and a 3-1 record in nine appearances to go with a 2.77 ERA, 40 strikeouts, and .226 opponent batting average... Rich Anastasi is 4-0 in 11 appearances, posting a 2.30 ERA and 19 strikeouts... Tim Swatek has 13 strikeouts, three saves, and a 2.70 ERA in 16.2 innings of work to open the year... Jonathan Reich has still yet to allow an earned run in 16.2 innings of relief.
WINNING ON THE ROAD: With the Rams' road win against New York Tech on April 6th, Fordham has won nine road contests this season, which matched their road win total for the entire 2010 season.
UPCOMING GAMES: Following this weekend's series, the Rams continue their eight-game homestand against Rutgers on April 12th, which is followed by a three-game series with George Washington from April 15-17. The homestand concludes with a home game against Iona on April 20.
