San Diego, Calif. - Complete Results

The Fordham University women's rowing squad competed at the 2011 San Diego Crew Classic on April 2nd and 3rd in Mission Bay where the Rams raced three varsity 8 boats.

The top finisher was the Fordham entry in the women's collegiate third varsity 8 which won its heat in a time of 6:53.60, beating the University of British Columbia, UC-Davis, Loyola and Santa Clara to the line.

The Fordham varsity eight that competed in the women's collegiate varsity B - Sea World Cup race placed fifth in a time of 7:02.24, just 0.08 seconds behind St. Mary's but ahead of UC-Davis.

The other Fordham varsity 8 rowed in the women's collegiate second varsity 8 race and placed sixth in a time of 7:11.79.

The Fordham crew will next be in action on Saturday and Sunday, April 9th and 10th, as they compete at the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River in Collingswood, N.J.
