Fordham Baseball Game Notes | WFUV Audio | Live Stats

Bronx, N.Y. - Following a doubleheader the team would like to forget, the Fordham baseball team is back in action on Tuesday, as the Rams travel to Old Westbury, N.Y., for their second meeting with the New York Tech Bears this season. Fordham topped New York Tech, 7-3, back on March 8th at Houlihan Park.

In that game, Rich Anastasi was credited with the win, allowing just one hit in three innings of relief with six strikeouts. Joseph Charest pitched a scoreless eighth as he got out of a bases loaded jam with a double play, while Chris Pike struck out three batters in the ninth to close out the win.

At the plate, Ryan Lee was 2-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI, while Joe Russo added three hits and two RBI.

Despite the loss, New York Tech holds the all-time series edge at 32-30-2.
