Philadelphia, Pa. - Competition at the 2011 Penn Relays wrapped up at Franklin Field on Saturday with Fordham's final entries in action in the men's 4x400 IC4A championship and the men's 4x800 college division.

Courtesy of last night's performance in the men's 4x400 relay, Fordham qualified for the finals of the IC4A division. In that race, the Rams, comprised of Sean Atkinson, Sam Houston, Christopher Lyons, and Brian Schmidt, placed seventh overall in a season-best time of 3:13.47.

The Rams were also in the college division of the men's 4x800 relay today, where the team of John Cosgrove, Brian Walter, Schmidt, and Ryan Polo, placed ninth overall in a season-best time of 7:31.55.

The Fordham track & field team will next be in action on Sunday, May 1st, as the team competes at the Yale Invitational in New Haven, Connecticut.
