Softball Doubleheader with Dayton Moved to 2:00 P.M.

Bronx, N.Y. - The softball doubleheader between Fordham and Dayton originally scheduled for noon on Saturday, April 23, has been pushed back to a 2:00 P.M. start, due to impending storms hitting the metropolitan area. Both games are still scheduled to take place on Saturday.

The 23rd is also Senior Day at Bahoshy Field, and all the ceremonies are expected to take place as normal, between games one and two of the doubleheader. Furthermore, prior to the start of game one, Fordham will pay special tribute to Nicole Ayres, a former Fordham softball player who last her life last September.

Following the conclusion of the doubleheader, or in the place of the games if they are postponed, there will be a reception in the faculty lounge of the McGinley Center commemorating the graduating seniors in 2011.
