Fordham Women's Basketball Travels to Philadelphia to Face La Salle on Sunday

Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham women's basketball team will travel to Philadelphia this weekend to face La Salle on Sunday at noon. The game will be the second meeting of the year between the teams. The Rams won the initial meeting 69-54.

The Atlantic 10 conference game is slated for 12:00 p.m. and will be shown on CBS College Sports Network. Fordham enters the game at 10-13 overall, 2-5 in the A-10. The Explorers are 6-16 and 2-5 in the league. The Rams are looking to end a three-game losing streak.

In their first meeting, four Rams players reached double-figures in scoring, led by Tiffany Stokes' 17 point production. Becky Peters came in with 14 points, while Abigail Corning and Kristina Bell each scored a dozen. For the Explorers, Ashley Gale scored a game-high 29 points.

Following the trip to Philadelphia, Fordham faces another tenant of the City of Brotherly Love as fellow Jesuit school, Saint Joseph's, visits the Rose Hill Gymnasium on Wednesday, February 9 at 7:00 p.m. That game is part of the Jesuit Basketball Spotlight.
