Bronx, N.Y. - The regular season may have concluded, but for the Fordham women's basketball team, the season continues as they have qualified for the Atlantic 10 Championship. The tournament runs from Friday, March 4, through Monday, March 7, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Fordham earned a tenth seed in the Championship and will face St. Bonaventure as the first-round opponent. The game is slated to begin at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, March 4. If the Rams advance, they will face Temple University on Saturday, March 5, also beginning at 5:00 P.M.

The Rams faced the Bonnies earlier in the season, on February 19, at the Rose Hill Gymnasium. St. Bonaventure won that game 62-52. In that contest, Tiffany Stokes led Fordham with 14 points and eight rebounds.

Fordham ended the regular-season with a 12-18 overall mark, including a 4-10 record in the A-10. The four wins mark the most conference victories for the Rams in the Cathy Andruzzi era, and this is the first time the Fordham has made back-to-back Atlantic 10 Championship appearances since the 2005 and 2006 seasons.
