Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham women's basketball team returns to the Rose Hill Gymnasium on Saturday, February 19 at 1:00 P.M. for a game against the St. Bonaventure Bonnies. The game is part of the Pink Zone initiative for the Rams.

The Rams will be joining schools across the nation in support of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Pink Zone initiative. The Pink Zone is a global, unified effort for the WBCA nation of coaches to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. The Pink Zone week throughout college basketball was chosen as February 11-20, 2011.

In doing its part, Fordham players, coaches and support staff will be wearing pink for the game. Furthermore, all fans in attendance will have the opportunity to receive things like mini-basketballs, t-shirts and awareness dog tags. There will also be giveaways, raffles and contests to support the initiative.

All fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game. Furthermore, Fordham is accepting donations of any size for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

Kay Yow, North Carolina State University head women's basketball coach, is a past president and founding member of the WBCA and was a galvanizing voice for the Association. After battling three different stints with breast cancer, Yow passed away on January 24, 2009.

Following the game with the Bonnies, Fordham will have it's final home game of the season Wednesday, February 23 against Massachusetts. The game starts at 7:00 P.M. and there will be a pre-game ceremony honoring the senior Rams.
