Clermont, Fla. - The Fordham softball team continues its stretch in Florida at the Dot Richardson College Classic on Sunday. They face #17/18 Georgia Tech and follow that up with a game against Tennessee-Chattonooga.

The Rams are coming off a day one showing in which they opened the season with a 1-0 victory over Florida Atlantic University. In that game, Chelsea Plimpton tossed her fifth career shutout while striking out a career-high eleven batters.

Fordham looks to avenge a day one loss to Georgia Tech in which the Yellow Jackets rallied for a 6-0 win. The Sunday game with the Yellow Jackets begins at 11:00 A.M and the contest with the Lady Mocs starts at 1:00 P.M.

Following the games, the softball Rams return action on Friday, February 18 when they participate in the USF Tournament in Tampa, Florida. They face Ole Miss at 9:15 A.M. and they follow that with a game against USF at 2:00 P.M.
