2011 College Football Performers of the Week (Nov. 14, 2011)

Fordham University senior linebacker Nick Womack (Maple Heights, Ohio/St. Peter Chanel) was named Honorable Mention NCAA FCS Linebacker Performer of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards it was announced on Monday. It is his third CFPA award of the year.
In Fordham's 21-0 loss to Bucknell on Jack Coffey Field last Saturday, Womack recorded six tackles, four solo, including 1.5 for loss of four yards and a forced fumble.
On the year, Womack has registered 35 total tackles, 24 solo, including six for loss and 3.5 sacks, both team highs. He also has two interceptions on the year, one that he returned 100 yards for a touchdown in the win over Columbia, setting a school record for longest interception return.
The Rams will close out their 2011 schedule on Saturday, November 19th, as they host the Holy Cross Crusaders in a match-up of Patriot League teams on Jack Coffey Field in the annual battle for the Ram-Crusader Cup at 1:00 p.m.
