SERIES HISTORY: Since Saint Louis joined the Atlantic 10 in 2005, the Billkens have won all nine meetings against the Rams, while Duquesne has won the last seven meetings with Fordham, which includes eliminating the Rams at last year's Atlantic 10 Championship. Fordham's last win against Duquesne came in 2005.

LAST TIME OUT: The Fordham volleyball team traveled to Rutgers on Tuesday looking for its fifth straight win over the Scarlet Knights. However, Rutgers' Hannah Curtis and Sofi Cucuz had 17 kills each, as the Scarlet Knights topped the Rams in four sets. Final set scores were 25-11, 32-30, 16-25, and 25-18.

Rutgers came out swinging in the opening set, hitting .481 as a team with just one error, as the Scarlet Knights cruised to a 14-point win.

The second set saw multiple set points for both squads. Fordham spoiled three set points for Rutgers, while the Scarlet Knight fought off four set points by the Rams, the last at 30 all. Rutgers then got another set point off an attack error, and then clinched the set with a service ace by Tiffany Regmund.

The Rams fought their way back into the match with a nine-point win in set three, as Fordham hit .556 as a team without an error, while holding Rutgers to 11 errors and a .029 hitting percentage. Krissy Buongiorno led the attack in the set for Fordham with three kills and three blocks.

Rutgers though regained their edge in set four, hitting .429 in the clinching set with 21 kills accounting for the majority of the 25-18 set win.

For Fordham, Lisa Hipp had a team-high eight kills to go with 11 digs, while Brittany Daulton had seven kills. Buongiorno finished with five kills, five blocks, and two service aces with Megan Arend having 14 digs and four assists. Sara Konkel and Mary Diamantidis each had 13 assists from the setter position.

RAMS SET TEAM BLOCKS RECORD: In the team's match at Temple, Fordham broke the school record for blocks with 21 team blocks in the four-set win. It broke the previous mark of 16.5 set against St. Peter's in 1997.

In those 21 team blocks, both Randi Ewing and Krissy Buongiorno each had 10 total blocks, which tied the Fordham record for individual blocks in a four-set match.
