Bronx, N.Y. - The men's soccer team will have the fourth game of its current, five-game-homestand on Sunday, October 23, when they welcome the #10 Charlotte 49ers to Jack Coffey Field for an Atlantic 10 conference game at 1:00 P.M. With a win, the Rams will even their record on the current homestand at 2-2.

The Fordham team fell to Saint Louis, 2-1 on Friday night; which put the conference record at 3-2. The game with Charlotte will go a long way to determine league standings as the A-10 tournament approaches.

In Fridays' setback to the Billikens, Jack-Tim Murphy scored the lone goal for the Rams. He was assisted by Michael Stalker. Ryan Meara made three saves.

The 49ers and Fordham last met on the soccer pitch back in 2009. The game resulted in a 2-2 draw. The tie saw current team members, Tim Richardson, John Niyonsaba and Matt Courtenay all get in the scorebook as Richardson scored a goal and Niyonsaba and Courtenay recorded assists. Currently Courtenay leads the team in points and goals and Niyonsaba and John McHugh each have a pair of helpers.

Following the game with the 49ers, the Rams close out the home portion of their schedule when they face the La Salle Explorers on Friday, October 28 at 5:00 P.M. The matchup is the first game of a doubleheader with the women's team and is also the Senior Day game for the soccer Rams. The team will honor the 11 seniors ending their careers this season in a ceremony prior to the game.
