Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham men's golf team continues the fall portion of its schedule when the squad travels up to Charlestown, Rhode Island to compete in the 2011 Classic at Shelter Harbor. The event will begin with 18 holes on Saturday, October 15 and conclude with the final round on the 16th. The Shelter Harbor Golf Club will host the event.

The Rams enter the tournament following a 13th place finish at the Big 5 Invitational last week. In that event, Connor Monaghan paced the team with a 14th position finish among individuals and made an Eagle-two on the Par-four, 4th hole. The golfers competing this week for Fordham are Devon O'Rourke, Jason Del Rosso, Brody Nieporte, Jeff Hogan, Brian Engstrom and Ben Alcorn.

Following the Classic at Shelter Harbor, the team returns to action on Saturday, October 22, when it competes in the Lehigh University Invitational. The Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania will serve as the site.
