The Fordham University football Rams open their 2011 Patriot League schedule on Saturday, October 1st, as they travel to Hamilton, N.Y., to face the Colgate University Raiders at 1:00 p.m.
The game will be streamed live on the internet on the >Colgate All Access page and will be broadcast live on wfuv.org with Ricky Cibrano and Andrew O'Connell handling the announcing chores and Kyle Kesses on the sidelines. Subscribers to Time Warner Cable can watch the game on channel 197.
This will be the 23rd meeting between Fordham and Colgate on the gridiron with the Raiders leading the all-time series, which started in 1989, 18-4. The Raiders have won the past three meetings and seven of the past eight, including a 47-12 win last year on November 20th on Jack Coffey Field as Nate Eachus rushed 30 times for 204 yards and three touchdowns while Greg Sullivan completed 15 of 17 passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for two more scores.
