Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham Rams open up Atlantic 10 Conference play by hosting the LaSalle Explorers on Saturday, January 8 at 1:00 p.m. Fordham finished their non-conference scheduled with an 8-8 mark.

The Rams have been doing it on defense lately, holding their last five opponents beneath the 50-point plateau. Most recently, Fordham traveled to the state capital to open the New Year and defeated the University at Albany 48-43. Becky Peters led all scorers with 12 points, and Abigail Corning chipped in with 10.

Following the game with the Explorers, the Rams travel down to Charlotte, North Carolina to take on the Charlotte 49ers on Wednesday, January 12, 2011. The game is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m.
