Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University women's basketball team looks to return to its winning ways on Saturday, January 15, as the team welcomes the Temple Owls into the Rose Hill Gymnasium. The Rams, winners of three of their last five games, come into the game coming off a loss at Charlotte on Wednesday. Fordham has an even record at 9-9, with a 1-1 mark in the Atlantic 10.

On the court, Fordham is led by junior guard Becky Peters. Peters is averaging 13.9 ppg. She has the led the team in scoring nine times this season. Tiffany Stokes is the only other starter averaging in double figures at 10.1. She also leads the team in rebounding at 7.1 rpg. The Owls come in with a 10-6 mark and a spotless 2-0 ledger in the conference. They come off the heels of an 81-34 drubbing of Rhode Island.

The game will be the 26th meeting between the two universities. The Owls lead the all-time series, 21-4 and have won 16 in a row. The game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
