Fairfield, Conn. - The Fordham University men's tennis squad continued its 2010 fall season with a trip to Fairfield, Conn., to face Fairfield University on Wednesday, falling to the Stags, 7-0.

The Rams opened the match, dropping the doubles point, losing all three doubles matches. Nick Kelly and Ken Fukumoto fell at first doubles to Joe Michalisin and Mark Kremheller, 8-2, while Eli Plangger and Alex DeRienzo were upended at second doubles by Dennis Zoblinsky and Rob Ferrante, 8-2, and Dan Kane-West and Andriy Kulak lost to Dan Sauter and Reece Breault at the third spot, 8-2.

In singles action, Kane-West was the closet to picking up a point for the Rams, winning the first set from Breault, 6-3, before Breault forced a tiebreaker with a 6-4 win in the second set. Kane-West battled Breault in the tiebreaker before falling, 11-9.

The Rams will next be in action on Saturday, October 2nd, as they host La Salle University in the Hawthorn/Rooney Courts at 10:00 a.m.
