West Point, N.Y. - Fordham University's double team of Sarah Tremaine and Mia Fiocca won two matches on Saturday in the A Doubles competition at the Eastern Championship to advance to the finals on Sunday where they will face Stony Brook's Fanny Charliquart and Gayatri Krishman for the title.

Tremaine and Fiocca opened the second day of play at Easterns with an 8-3 win over Bucknell's' Demi Iepuras and Elena Vidrascu in the quarterfinals and than advanced to the finals with an 8-6 victory over Natasha Brown and Caroline Richman from Amherst in the semifinals.

Other Rams in action on Saturday included Taylor Holt, Bethany Boyle and the doubles team of Monika Chao and Boyle.

Holt faced Patricia Muthing of Lehigh in the round of 16 of the Honor Singles Beta competition, falling 8-2, while Boyle played in the Survival Singles Beta flight, defeating Jessica Nowogrodzki of St. Peter's, 8-0, before falling to FDU's Manuela Lema, 8-2, in the semifinals.

Chao and Boyle competed in the Effort Doubles flight where they fell to West Virginia's Anna Rodianova and Catie Wickline, 8-3.
