Golf in Fourth Place After First Two Rounds of Bucknell Invite

After the first two rounds of the 2010 Bucknell Fall Invitational, on the Bucknell Golf Course, the Fordham squad is in fourth place of 13 teams. Leading the way for the Rams is Devon O'Rourke, who sits on a fourth place tie with a two-round score of 144.

Robert Morris leads the team competition with a score of 584 with Bucknell four strokes back at 588, Colgate nine back at 593 and Fordham ten strokes behind the leader with a team score of 594. Rounding out the top six are Laval (595) and Lafayette (598).

C.G. Mercatoris from Robert Morris is the top individual, carding an even par 140 over the first two rounds. Lafayette's Erik Adolfsson is two back at 142 while St. Peter's Andrew Gain is third at 143. Rourke and Laval's Sonny Michaud are tied for fourth, recording a four-over 144 through two rounds. O'Rourke shot identical 72s in the first two sessions.

Also scoring for the Rams are Jason Del Rosso, who shot a 76 and a 72 for a 148, tying him for 15th, Connor Monaghan, who carded a pair of 75s for a total of 150, tied for 27th, Brody Nieporte, who recorded a 76 in each of the first two rounds for a 144 total, tying him for 34th, and Brendan Green, who registered an 83 and a 77 for a 160, good for 63rd overall.

The Bucknell Fall Invitational will conclude with the third round on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 AM.
