Behind the success of the Fordham Cross Country/Track & Field Golf Outing, the men's and women's cross country and track & field teams will host a post-meet reception, following the conclusion of the C.W. Post Invitational on Saturday, September 18th. This event will be held in conjunction with the L.I. Chapter of the Fordham Alumni Club.
Following this year's golf outing, the demand for more social events to bring together the alumni, families, and friends of the program was requested. To honor that request, we are asking you to support us by joining us on Saturday.
The cross country teams had a very strong showing for the opening weekend, finishing in the top five on both the men's and women's side with senior Kerri Gallagher winning the women's race, while freshman Michael Belgiovine cracked the top five in his first ever meet. The Fordham track teams return the vast majority of last year's team and there are plenty of new athletes waiting to make an immediate impact this season.

DIRECTIONS:
From the Bronx: Throgs Neck or Whitestone Bridge to the Cross Island Parkway. Take that to the Southern State Parkway to exit 15 South (Corona Ave). Make a right off the ramp and go straight (bear left at the fork - "Welcome to Valley Stream" sign) about one mile. The restaurant is one block past Merrick Rd on the right.
From the East: Southern State Parkway to exit 15 South (Franklin Ave South). Follow above directions.
LIRR: It is a 10-minute walk from the Valley Stream Station.
