Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham University senior Kerri Gallagher was named the Atlantic 10 women's cross country performer of the week it was announced by the conference office. It is the second weekly cross country award for Gallagher, who also won the award once in 2008.

Gallagher won the 2010 Fordham Fiasco women's race on Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park, covering the 5K course in a time of 18:17.64, almost ten seconds ahead of runner-up Leslie Kovach of Penn (18:26.51). Her win helped the team finish fifth of 18 teams at the meet.

The Fordham men's and women's cross country teams will next be in action on Saturday, September 18th, as they compete at the C.W. Post Invitational in Brookville, N.Y. at 10:30 AM.
