Bronx, N.Y. -
As the 2009-10 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 76th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on May 6th to honor Fordham University's student-athletes for their accomplishments during the academic year.
Among those honored was senior Andrew Dentinger, who was named the 2009-10 water polo most valuable player.
Serving as team captain, Dentinger helped guide the Rams to their finest season in over two decades, as the team captured a share of the C.W.P.A. regular season title, finished as runners-up at the Northern Division Championship, and took fifth at the Eastern Championship. Individually he played in his 100th game at Fordham and once again finished among the team leaders in assists.
