Bronx, N.Y. -
As the 2009-10 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 76th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on May 6th to honor Fordham University's student-athletes for their accomplishments during the academic year.
Among those honored was senior Kathleen Stack, who was named the 2009-10 cheerleading most valuable player.
As a team captain in 2009-10, Stack's effort, enthusiasm, and work ethic have been evident throughout her years as part of the squad. This year she played a role in the team adopting Meaghan Tully through the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, charitable organization that improves the quality of life for children suffering with pediatric brain tumors and their families. FOJ is all about love, support, and friendship. FOJ matches a child with a college or high school sports team based on geographic location.
