Rehoboth Beach Spring Invite Results (PDF) 
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. -
The Fordham men's golf team finished fifth out of 11 teams at the Rehoboth Beach Spring Invite, held at the Kings Creek Country Club in Rehoboth Beach on Monday. The Rams finished +49 (311-306-617), and were led by rookie Jason Del Rosso (Orlando, Fla./Bishop Moore) for the second time in three days. Del Rosso finished tied for ninth over all, and was +7 (75-74-149).
University of Maryland's men's golfers finished first at 11- over par, 579 (289-290).
Sophomore Devon O'Rourke (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) also finished in the top 20 out of a field of 69. O'Rourke tied for 17th at +10 (78-74-152). Rookie Brody Nieport (Atlanta, Ga./St. Pius) tallied a +16, 158 (81-77), to finish 33rd overall in the open.
Sophomore Brendan Greene (Wilmette, Ill./Loyola Academy) tied for 40th at +17 (78-81-159) and senior David Newman (North Dighton, Mass./Dighton-Rehoboth Regional) placed 46 (80-82-162) at +20.
The men will return to action this weekend as they travel to Littlestown, Pa., for the Lafayette Invitational. The two-day tournament will start on Saturday, April 11 and continue through Sunday at Center Valley Country Club.
