Pellechio stole second, putting both her and Shager in scoring position and ready for Shager as the catcher hit her second triple of the afternoon scoring them both for two RBI. Both runs went unearned and Fordham would have a 5-0 lead with two innings left to play.
After a dangerous sixth inning for FDU, with three hits and the defense leaving all three batters on base, the Rams decided to call it a day with a walk off three-run home run by Fisher. Rookie Katherine VanBenschoten (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) led off with a single up the middle. Bright followed up with a bunt single and advanced VanBenschoten to second.
