Queens, N.Y. - The Fordham University women's tennis team traveled into Queens to face St. John's University on Saturday, falling to the Red Storm, 7-0.

The Rams opened the match dropping the doubles point as St. John's took all three doubles matches. Sarah Tremaine and Bethany Boyle fell at first doubles to Ece Firat and Jenny Yonkus, 8-1, while Taylor Holt and Jennifer Mullen were upended at second doubles by Nakita Austin and Ira Aleksova, 8-3, and Martina Featherston and Elizabeth Stall dropped third doubles to Ksenia Mikhaylova and Joanna Zwirbulis, 8-4.

The Rams lost all the singles matches in straight sets as Featherston fell to Aleksova (6-1, 6-0) at first singles, Tremaine lost to Zwirbulis (6-0, 6-3) at the second position, Boyle was upended by Firat (6-1, 6-0) at third singles, Holt was upended by Yonkus at the fourth spot (6-1, 6-0), Muller fell to Mikhaylova at the fifth position (6-2, 6-0) and Stall lost to Liantonio at the sixth spot (6-0, 6-1).

The Rams will next be in action on Sunday, April 11th, as they travel to Bethlehem, Penn., to face Lehigh University at 11:00 a.m.
