Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham baseball team will try again to have their home opener this week, as they will play the New York Tech Bears at 2:00 PM on Friday at Houlihan Park.

Originally, Fordham was scheduled to open a three-game set at George Mason on Friday, but field conditions at George Mason have pushed back the start of that series to Saturday.

Weather also played havoc with conditions in New York, as the Rams got washed out due to rain on Wednesday, postponing their original home opener against Manhattan.

This will be the 50th all-time meeting between Fordham and New York Tech. The Bears, a team that Fordham will see multiple times this year, holds a 27-22 lead in the all-time series.
