Shelton, Conn. - The Fordham rowing squad continued its 2010 spring season by competing at the 2010 Sacred Heart Invitational on the Housatonic River on Saturday where the Varsity 8 second varsity 8 and the novice 8 all won gold.

With seven team entries in the varsity 8, the shells were divided into two heats, with the Rams winning their heat in a time of 8:12.0, over seven seconds ahead of Army and eight seconds in front of Skidmore. In the Grand Final, Fordham again won going away in a time of 8:08.4, over five seconds ahead of runner-up Skidmore.

In the second varsity 8, the Rams again won easily, crossing the line in 8:27.3, 25 seconds ahead of second place Skidmore.

Fordham also had no problem in the novice 8, defeating Skidmore by over a minute.
