BRONX, N.Y. - Fordham softball senior Erin Fisher (Woodinville, Wash./Woodinville) tallied her first Atlantic 10 honor of the season as she was named Player of the Week by conference officials on Monday, after a solid offensive performance at the Springhill Suites Buckhead Classic in Atlanta.

Fisher hit the game-winning RBI single to help the Rams to a 2-1 eighth-inning victory over No. 8/11 Georgia Tech on Saturday, March 13. In addition to the game-winner, she was also responsible for the RBI in the first inning to put Fordham on the board, 1-0.

The senior, the Rams' starting centerfielder, also drove in a two-run homerun against Mercer for two safety runs in the 10th inning in a 4-0 shutout in the weekend-finale.

For the week, Fisher hit .462 with five RBI and a 1.000 slugging percentage.
