Hamden, Conn. - The Fordham women's tennis team had a rough go at Quinnipiac this afternoon, falling to the Bobcats by a 7-0 count.

The Rams gave a good effort to open the match in doubles, falling by very close scores. Fordham's Jennifer Mullen and Brittany Russell fell to Lisanne Steinert and Natalie Duckor at third doubles by a 9-7 score, while Bethany Boyle and Taylor Holt lost to Rachel Cantor and Sarah Viebrock at second doubles, 8-5.

In singles play, the Bobcats swept all six singles matches in straight sets. Holt put up the best fight at fourth singles, falling to Steinert, 6-4, 6-3.

The Fordham women's tennis team will next be in action on March 6th when they meet Albany.
