After a 24-hour postponement do to the blizzard that engulfed the New York City metropolitan area, the 2010 Fordham Holiday Classic will finally get underway on Wednesday, December 29. Fordham will face Yale in the first game.
The second game of the day features Villanova taking on Siena. The first game starts at 1:00 p.m. with the second game commencing 30 minutes after the completion of the first contest.
Day two opens with Fordham facing Siena and Villanova challenging Yale. There will be an all-tournament team selected after the completion of play on day two.
Fordham enters the Yale game with a 6-7 record. The Bulldogs are 3-7. The Elis are the lone Ivy League opponent the Rams face this season. Fordham's day two opponent, Siena College, come out of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Rams own a 2-1 record against MAAC conference teams.
Following the 2010 Holiday Classic, the Rams travel up to Albany to close out non-conference play with a matchup against the Great Danes. The game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 2.
