Three Fordham Football Players on FCS Senior Scout Bowl Watch List

Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham University seniors Jason Caldwell, Stephen Skelton and Adnan Vandyck have all been selected added to the 2010 FCS Senior Bowl Watch List it was announced this week. The three are under consideration for the 2010 FCS Senior Scout Bowl which will be held in the Metro New York area on December 11, 2010.

Caldwell, a wide receiver, leads the 2010 Rams with 61 catches for 747 yards (12.2 yards/catch) with two touchdowns. He leads the Patriot League and is ranked eleventh in the NCAA FCS in total receiving yards and receptions/game (6.78) and is second in the league and 18th in the nation in receiving yards/game (83.00). Caldwell is also fourth in the Patriot League in all-purpose yards/game (106.3).

Over his career, Caldwell has hauled in 176 passes for 2,480 yards, both second best on the Fordham all-time list. He has three 100-yard receiving games this year and ten in his career

Skelton, a tight end who was named to the 2010 FCS Senior Scout Bowl Preseason All-America Team, has 33 receptions for 345 yards, both second best on the squad, and two touchdowns this year. He is ranked tenth in the Patriot League in receptions per game (3.7).

Adnan Vandyck


Skelton, who was also named 2010 preseason All-America by College Sporting News, The Sports Network and Phil Steele's College Football Preview, has 118 career receptions for 1,215 yards and nine touchdowns. He is ranked seventh on the Fordham career receptions list and tied for eighth on the career touchdown receptions list.

Vandyck, a two-year starter on the offensive line after moving over from the defensive line following his sophomore season, has started all nine games for the Rams at left tackle this fall. He is a key component of an offensive line that has helped the Rams average 392.2 yards/game, second best in the Patriot League and 27th in the NCAA FCS. The offensive line has also helped in the offense average 21.9 first downs/game, tops in the league and 12th best in the NCAA FCS.

The Rams will continue their 2010 Patriot League season this Saturday, November 6th, as they travel to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, to face the Bucknell University Bison at 1:00 p.m.
